Meet the team behind R&L Royal Services.

Most employees at small companies wear many hats, and R&L Royal Services is no exception. As the company evolves, so do the hats the team wears while caring for clients, crews, and every job in progress.

Dave Riley

Owner

Dave is the company's energetic owner, fearless leader, head coach, hardest worker, go-to mover and shaker, and occasional surrogate dad. He started R&L Royal Services over a decade ago with a few crews and a goal of providing ideal painting and cleaning services for clients.

Through Dave's leadership, R&L's service offerings have expanded and the crews have almost doubled. He is proud to have built a company clients can count on as a one stop shop for home services, and a place employees like to stay. Almost half of Dave's employees have worked for him for at least four years.

Sheilah

Office Manager

Sheilah is the spirited Office Manager, AP/AR, HR support, software tester, contract reader, red-pen bandit, and occasional surrogate mom. She also tries, and sometimes succeeds, at reining in Dave's energy.

When Sheilah mentions retirement in the not-too-distant future, Dave quickly changes the subject. Sheilah started working at R&L early in 2018.

Cindy

Painting Crew Supervisor

Cindy is the tireless painting Crew Supervisor who drives around almost as much as Dave to assess job progress, check in with clients and crews, and occasionally gift painters with new rollers, saw blades, or sprayer tips.

She also manages R&L's considerable fleet. If there is a back road to a job, Cindy knows it. Cindy is Dave's longest-term employee, started at R&L in 2016, and was the first to be promoted from within.

Monse

Cleaning Crew Supervisor

Monse is the composed cleaning Crew Supervisor who brings calm everywhere she goes, especially to R&L's often-bustling office environment.

When she is not checking in on cleaning crews, Monse is following her insatiable curiosity into many aspects of the company. She updates the frequently changing schedule and occasionally wrangles Sheilah into sharing more of R&L's behind-the-scenes work. Monse has worked at R&L since 2019 and was also promoted from within.

Painting crews

R&L Royal Services has several paint crews with a combined total of over 30 years of experience. Each crew has a Crew Leader, and crews are assigned to jobs according to their skillsets when clients need work that goes beyond painting tasks. The painters prep areas carefully and work efficiently as a team for the success of each job.

Cleaning crews

R&L Royal Services' cleaning crews have a combined total of more than 17 years of experience. Cleaning Crew Leaders discuss each client's needs with their crew, then divide and conquer thoroughly and effectively. Whether supporting a one-time clean or recurring clients, the focus remains the same: a job well done for a happy client.
